Tis’ the season for sales! November is well known as sample sale season and of course, Black Friday. The sales officially begin today and while there’s a possibility prices may drop even further, I never like to take the risk of losing my size. Take last year for example, when I nearly lost my favourite designer bag that was reduced to £900 before it went back up to full price… and stayed there (50% more). Here’s my Black Friday 2018 top fashion picks (with a little homeware thrown in) featuring some items that I’ve actually bookmarked for weeks, if not months. So if you follow me for my style and beauty recommendations, this is the very post you need to be shopping from!
It-girl brand Missoma is offering 25% off with an early access sale (you’ll have to give them your email but isn’t that a small price to pay in comparison?). My blog is called The Haute Heel, you know I love my shoes. Imagine these Balenciaga must-haves and this beautiful pair of Aquazzurra shoes reduced by 30%!
If you’ve been saving for that classic designer bag, this is the best time to just go for it. Luisa via Roma have a 30% for any spend over £300, excluding new season items (starred). These are my recommended picks that are so worth it, not just because of cost per wear but because of its timelessness. I’m particularly enamoured by the Bottega Venetta bag that’s under £1000 with the discount, almost unheard of!
My clothing wishlist is bound to grow exponentially in the coming week, but just from browse of The Outnet, there are some fantastic prices going on. My experience with this site is to grab it before it’s gone, it’s basically an online sample sale. Stock up on some cold weather pieces and partywear for December. I also like to think that the two go hand in hand. Often when I don’t have enough time to change for an event, I’ll wear a cute knit over a glitzy dress for a transition look.
This is real. The mirror is only £159 and you can add on further discount with the Black Friday offer. My dream pink velvet bed, king size because I’m extra, is also on sale for less than £600, which is incredibly rare for something like this. It’s also an ideal time to stock up on basics, so treat yourself to these great pillows (I’ve bought them before and they’re the perfect balance of fluff and firmness) from MADE. As for soft furnishings, arguably the most fun part of home decor, this pillow case is an incredible find. It looks super luxe and even more enticing with that price slash. You can also never have too many sheepskin throws, after all, winter is coming.
The silver lining of having colder weather is that it’s pretty hard for your face to stay puffy in the mornings. But for those of you that don’t feel like sticking your head out of your window to 8 degrees of chill, a jade roller is the way to go. I’m a huge advocate of lymphatic drainage and it’s about time I invested in my own tools. Ideally, I’d take this on the plane with me, alongside a good sheet mask. Another great sale gem is this set of glitters from Bleach – I’ve used the single pink one on an editorial shoot and it’s hands down the best product of it’s kind.
