25 Christmas gifts under £200
With Christmas only a month away, I’ve found myself perusing the aisles of Waitrose for mince pies and humming carols. Preparing for the season as a single household means less of the decorations and homely atmosphere and more about the giving and celebrating with friends. Presents are simultaneously the most annoying yet exciting part of the season, so I put together 25 Christmas gifts under £200 to help out with your wishlist. From chic interior decor pieces and everyone’s favourite colour pink, to festive themed gifts, here are the most coveted gifts this winter. Best of all, these won’t break anyone’s bank, so there’s more money for mulled wine and Winter Wonderlands together.
The interior lover
Decor can be a highly personal thing but according to Pinterest and like, the entire social media population, Scandi and Moroccan accents have been on trend and elevating homes everywhere. This edit is some of the most affordable yet chic items to display, utilise and keep way beyond December. Alternatively, a useful selection of presents if you know someone that’s recently moved – or that person who has everything so you get them something that looks five times more expensive than it actually is.

Pink isn’t a colour, it’s a way of life
Okay, what kind of psycho doesn’t love pink? For years it has been liberated from the clutches of the basic bitch and brought to the level of millennial adoration, which is exactly where it belongs. The key to a successful present with a long shelf life is not to give into seasonality. I repeat, do not choose the glitter because you’re ‘feeling the spirit’. Go for universal beauty products like Deciem’s hyaluronic acid booster that acts as a serum or anti-oxidant packed chocolate that’s good for your skin. As for alcohol, it may not be the most conventional gift to request and sure you’re always going to be pleased by the typical champagne brands. But people who really know you (and are happy to enable your boozy nights in) will get you a tasteful fine wine that you can enjoy together.

Or those of us who are trying to be one.

Bed is my best friend
We spend a huge amount of time in and with our beds – or at least I do. I claim that small people need more rest and whether or not that’s scientifically proven, the point is that we should look just as good in our private spaces, as we do outside. The problem is that lingerie and luxury pyjamas isn’t something that people actively purchase for themselves, which makes this a crucial item for your wishlist. Pick something pretty, comfortable and affordable that your loved ones will be thrilled to spoil you with. Plus, pyjamas that can double up as casual-wear are forever chic.
23. Lucia Berutto velvet suit and belt (£123) | 24. Asceno sky stripe silk pyjama top (£160) | 25. Le Petit Trou Anna ruffled Swiss-dot tulle soft-cup triangle bra & Jovite cutout ruffled Swiss-dot tulle briefs (both £55)
