No. 5 Hertford Street, better known as the members only club LouLou’s was host to the launch party of Wild at Heart for Bloom and Wild. While others are getting hyped about the latest iPhone, Yeezy sneaker or H&M collaboration, for me this was the partnership of the season. I’ve had a long standing obsession with flowers (I mean, have you seen my Instagram name?!) and the combination between an established florist and rescue dog activist with a London flower delivery start up is perfect in my eyes.
It’s a strong word but there was not a flaw in the aesthetic, design or the celebration itself. The venue was a twist on a Victorian townhouse with Art Deco elements and painted ceilings. Gargantuan displays of pink roses and hydrangeas morphed from fireplaces where little dogs slept – everything was organic, brimming and quintessentially British. The dress code was evening florals and guests came in subdued hues and maxi dresses adorned with flower prints of all kinds.
Flower bouquets are the perfect accessory to any outfit and almost certain to be popular on Instagram, especially when used as a prop alongside on-trend accessories or in a flatlay.
