MULAN VIBING

This set of pictures has to be one of the most fun that I’ve ever taken. An old friend from uni, Mary, who has taken awesome pictures of a Christmas look at Somerset House a few years ago, joined Ryan and I at Bishan Park.

Admittedly, I don’t explore Singapore very much and the location was so beautiful, I got so excited over the lotus pond that it had me singing Mulan theme songs in my head. (Thankfully for everyone else, not aloud).

 A lot of photographers I get to meet tell me that their favourite part of shooting  is meeting new faces, which was especially true for me on this shoot. I had been following Ryan on IG (@riversandtwilight) for a while and was way too excited when he emailed me.

This look is something I threw together, only to realise later that I could have walked onto the set of Scream Queens (this show is a guilty pleasure of mine). It’s definitely more towards my old style that I sported back in London but I love how I can just go back to that and it feels like playing dress- up.
