Stylestalker shorts and my furry bag!

When it comes to leather jackets it is usually the same shapes and cuts derived from the usual biker, bomber or aviator model. I have had my jacket for years and could never bear to throw it out because I have never seen anything else similar to it. It is short and fitted and reminds me of those little jackets that Victorian children are dressed in to promenade in the park. Recently I studded the elbows and the collar to inject it with some life or rather give me an excuse to D.I.Y. My leather shorts are a great find from Stylestalker- I actually bought them two sizes too big but the thrill of finding them in a pop- up shop held by the online retailer glassworks-studios.com overcame that technical issue. I am completely in love with Australian designers/ brands at the moment but the shipping time and cost is a major turn off especially because I am the most impatient shopper. I love that Stylestalker was so readily available in London!

Sweet Treats

As some may already know, I have a huge amount of love for Rugby RL and one of my favourite items is this black silk top with open sleeves. It has such a cute Victorian style in the way the shoulders puff out a little and the sleeves are fitted and buttoned. I barely shop at Topshop and my skirt is probably the only thing I own from there but I love the colour and how girly the polka dot print is. I am wearing my beloved Miu Miu shoes again because they are so comfortable and make me feel taller as I am actually a mere 5''2 and sometimes you just need to have a tall day. Some of my birthday presents are featured in this post such as the clutch bag in my favourite colour, 'Pupcakes' that are for my doggy Gatsby, the sparkly Deborah Lippman nail polish in 'Diamonds and Pearls' and the dainty set of fragrances from Penhaligons.

Post- Valentine's Day

I was so excited when I saw my Valentine's Day flowers especially because there were big pink peonies that are unusual to find this time of the year. Usually I like my arrangements pastel with no greens, but this was an exception as it has lovely accents of lavender which makes my room smell amazing whenever I walk by. The outfit I chose for Valentine's is typically red, feminine and easy to wear. The vintage dress has a drop waist reminiscent of my favourite era, the 1920's and the necklace which is worn like a collar here gives it a pop of brightness.

Exclusive Fashion Week Miu Miu Bags

PORTABLE JEWEL BOXES.         When I received an email from Miu Miu notifying me about these really cute, doll- like bags I wondered if they were the type to be so obscure that it would be impossible to track down but as it turns out, they will be launching in the flagship store in London, New Bond Street as soon as London Fashion Week begins! There are 16 different 'handmade' designs; I have not included all the bags, just the ones I liked but hopefully they will all be in-store by the end of the week. New York already has them and they will be arriving in Paris and Milan shortly. Which is your favourite?
