MICHELLE. Is such a sweet girl and one of the best bloggers at engaging with her readership. Her beautiful photos and confectionery of colours and feminine style is undeniably popular. I love everything about her blog, the familiar background of her rooftop, the classic pieces such as her Hermes carre and Birkin that she plays with such ease, but perhaps most of all how approachable and identifiable her fashion taste is, from rosy florals and caramel jerseys to licorice leather and currant- reds. This is her style illustrated...
WINTER MAGIC. This lace shirt is similar to the one that I wore here but this time I got a little excited with the needle and thread and started embellishing crystals on the buttons and sequin flowers on the collar. I was inspired by the embellished Dolce and Gabbana dress that I have also featured later in my blog. Apart from adding a personal element to the shirt I thought it softened it a little bit and made its gothic appearance slightly more feminine.
TWINKLE LITTLE DIAMOND. Dior is such an exciting name, it brings to mind upholstered chairs in white rooms filled with shimmering diamonds, beads and feathers. It is saturated in history and supreme elegance which has elevated the brand to the glorified status as queen of haute couture. The entire concept, the glamour, romance and enigmatic mystery is the sort that makes you gasp with delight and makes you believe that in the time spent in a Christian Dior shop, you are in a separate world where it is safe and forever sparkling.
SENSUAL/INDUSTRIAL. Here are some behind- the- scenes snaps of an editorial shoot that I worked on earlier this week. It was super cold, really busy and incredibly enlightening. I cannot yet reveal which magazine it was for but when it is published I will definitely post the final outcome! Most of the clothes I took photos of were not used, but it goes to show how much editing goes into the process of creating an editorial spread.
SEQUINS, GLITTER + POPCORN. Here are some photos, a little insight into last week's activities. I always find these sort of posts really interesting on other people's blogs because they are a glimpse of what the author's 'real life' is like and pictures the cute, quirky things that they find beautiful, so here is my miniature wonderland.
UNITED BY FOXTAILS. Thought this photo of my photographer/ friend's Nightingale in Jade and my Epi Leather Speedy looked so adorable together. I bought the ombre neon yellow foxtail and took her to buy her midnight blue one; our favourite go-to bags needed some updating!
LOUIS VUITTON + GIVENCHY
P.S I have witnessed the most amazing bag from Prada that I was told is exclusive to Harrods, and I had to include it in this post! It is made of mink fur and comes in black and white.
