Accessories for fall have gotten geometrical. From Fashion Week shows and presentations, it seems that this trend isn’t going anywhere in the next year or so, making these structured bags a must-have for an autumn wardrobe. Here are six of the most fashionable It bags in circles and squares, from budget to splurge:
‘Square’ styles have always been classic, almost to the point that we don’t realise how on trend they are. Think of those boxy little Petite Malle from Louis Vuitton that has everyone swooning, no matter what the season is or the sweet little croc trunk bags from Aspinal (in my header image).
Circles on the other hand, are making serious waves, at first appearing on Instagram as humble Bali basket bags, lending girls everywhere a little bit of boho to their city chic. Semi-circles were seen squeezing their way in this summer – determined not to be left out is Cult Gaia, a brand that I’m still spotting on Instagrammers. Specifically for fall, the circle bag takes centre stage as the ladylike macaron, lending some serious retro appeal to the season.
